Following fourteen years of deep sea experience on all vessel types and in all ranks Capt Brown graduated from Plymouth University with a BSc(Hons) in Marine Technology and Maritime Law before spending seven years working at a senior level in the claims department of a leading International Group P&I Club.

NICK MADDALENA
DIRECTOR

Nick has worked in the London insurance and reinsurance Market for the last 19 years. Prior to his involvement with Seacurus, Nick was Divisional Director of Financial Risks for QBE Europe, based in London. At QBE he was responsible for the underwriting of financial guaranty insurance products including the credit enhancement of asset backed securitisations and residual value guarantees of shipping, aviation and property assets. Nick has an Honours Degree in International Shipping and Maritime Law from Plymouth University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Surrey.

Accrued a wealth of experience as owner and managing director of Shiptalk Media Services, one of the UK’s leading marine based multimedia design and development agencies. Rob has established strong links with marine insurance further to the successful completion of a number of IT based projects for International Group P&I Clubs.
